The Snipping Flow

  • Trigger: Press Ctrl+Alt+S from anywhere on your desktop to launch the full-screen snip overlay.
  • Select: Click and drag to capture a specific region, or press Alt+C to capture the entire screen instantly.

Canvas Annotator

If screenshot review is enabled, your snip opens in the native canvas annotator:

  • Tools: Use Arrow, Freehand, Text, or the Mask tool to blur and redact sensitive information.
  • Non-Destructive: Annotations are saved as child attachments. The original, unedited screenshot is always preserved in your local storage.
  • Shortcuts: Ctrl+Z to undo, Enter to commit text, Esc to cancel.
